Our Story

Layered Lounge began with founder Suzy’s long-standing love of interiors and a desire to find pieces that felt elegant, enduring and personal.

After years spent renovating homes and sourcing for her own spaces, she saw a gap for homeware and furniture that felt more considered — timeless rather than trend-led, elevated yet easy to live with, and rich in texture without ever feeling overstated.

What began as a search for beautifully made pieces has grown into a family-run business shaped by thoughtful curation, a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, and a belief that home should feel both refined and relaxed.

Why “Layered Lounge”?

The name captures the essence of how we think about interiors.

How We Build Our Collections

Every collection begins with one question: would we choose to live with this ourselves?

If the answer is no, it does not move forward.

Each piece is selected for its balance of beauty, practicality and longevity. Some are designed in-house, others are carefully sourced, but all are chosen with the same intention: to help create homes that feel layered, warm and enduring.

We are less interested in fast trends than in lasting appeal. We would always rather offer fewer, better pieces that become part of the fabric of everyday life.
